Effective: September 22, 2026
Terms of Use
These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of ShortsAIEngine (“ShortsAIEngine,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, purchasing credits or a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, keep access secure, and notify [email protected] of suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity under your account and may not sell, share or automate access in a way that bypasses service controls.
2. The service
The service can assist with research, scripts, narration, visuals, captions, rendering, scheduling and optional publishing. Features, models, providers, limits, prices and availability can change. A displayed estimate is not a guaranteed completion time or result. We may apply plan, quota, safety, capacity and abuse limits and may use an offline fallback when a configured provider is unavailable.
3. Your content and instructions
- You retain the rights you already hold in content you submit.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, transform and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service and the features you request.
- You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your prompts, uploads, brand assets, voices, source material and publishing instructions.
- Do not submit confidential, regulated, sensitive personal or unlawfully obtained information. Do not use the service for deception, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, malware, illegal activity or infringement.
4. AI output and factual review
AI and automated systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive or similar-to-existing content. Outputs may not be unique and may require editing, fact-checking, disclosure or professional review. Do not rely on the service for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use or publish an output.
5. Third-party services and asset credits
Features may use third-party AI, speech, research, media, compute, payment or publishing services. Their terms, availability and privacy practices also apply. Provider selection does not transfer their warranties to us.
- Pexels: its license allows free use and modification without required attribution, subject to restrictions involving identifiable people, brands, endorsement and unaltered resale.
- Pixabay: its Content License allows free use and adaptation without required attribution, subject to prohibited standalone, trademark, misleading and other uses.
- Mixkit: each item type and item can carry a Free or Restricted license; verify the specific item before commercial use.
- Openverse, Wikimedia and other open collections aggregate works under different licenses. Follow the attribution and use conditions attached to the individual work.
Where available, ShortsAIEngine records an asset receipt to help with review. It is evidence, not a legal opinion or a guarantee that all trademarks, likeness, privacy, music, property or platform rights are cleared. Giving voluntary credit to creators and sources is encouraged even when a license does not require it.
6. Publishing and connected accounts
Publishing access is optional and requires separate authorization. You choose the destination, visibility, audience setting and whether automation is enabled. You are responsible for platform rules, AI/synthetic-media disclosures, music and publicity rights, community standards, advertising law and monetization eligibility. We may stop or defer publishing when authorization, plan, quota or safety checks fail.
7. Credits, subscriptions and payments
Credits are a limited service entitlement, not money, property or a stored-value account. They cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except where law requires. Current prices, taxes, renewal terms, plan limits and checkout provider are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the available management flow. Refunds, chargebacks and statutory cancellation rights are handled under the checkout provider’s terms and applicable law. Failed or cancelled renders are handled by the service’s current credit/refund rules; misuse or replay does not create additional credit.
8. Intellectual property
The service, interface, software, product marks and original materials remain ours or our licensors’. Except for using the service as allowed here, no rights are granted to copy, reverse engineer, resell, scrape, frame or create a competing service from protected parts of ShortsAIEngine. Rights in third-party models, assets and platforms remain with their owners.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, provider restrictions or harm to the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion. Sections that by nature should survive—such as payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limits—continue after termination.
10. Availability, disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or commercial success. We are not responsible for third-party outages, provider decisions, platform moderation, lost audience revenue or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms for service, provider, legal or security changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or service transfer, subject to applicable law.
