Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the operator of ShortsAIEngine (“ShortsAIEngine,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit the service, create an account, generate media, connect a publishing account, make a purchase or contact support.
1. Information we collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account and identity | Name, email address, profile image, provider account identifier, sign-in and multi-factor status. |
| Content and preferences | Topics, prompts, scripts, uploaded or pasted sources, brand settings, templates, channel settings, generated audio, images, videos, captions and metadata. |
| Transactions | Plan, credits, purchase or subscription status, referral records, gateway transaction identifiers and billing history. Payment providers handle full payment-card details; we do not need them. |
| Connected services | Publishing authorization, channel or page identifiers, publishing choices and delivery results when you connect YouTube or Facebook. |
| Technical and security data | IP and browser/network signals, country supplied by the edge network at sign-in, essential cookies, audit events, job status, error type, resource and performance metrics. |
| Support | Messages and the information you choose to include when requesting help or exercising a privacy right. |
2. How we use information
- Provide accounts, research, scripts, narration, rendering, storage, downloads, scheduling and publishing features.
- Apply plan limits, credits, payments, refunds and fraud or abuse controls.
- Protect accounts and infrastructure, investigate failures and maintain audit records.
- Respond to support, comply with law and enforce the Terms of Use.
- Measure aggregate reliability and improve service performance. We do not sell personal information for money or use your projects for third-party advertising.
Where applicable, processing is based on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent for optional connected services, and legal obligations.
3. Service providers and data transfers
The exact providers used depend on the feature and operator configuration. We send only the data reasonably needed for the requested operation. Provider terms can change, and their own policies govern their processing.
- Identity, security and delivery: Google for sign-in and optional YouTube access; Cloudflare Turnstile and edge security.
- AI processing: one or more operator-configured services such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, DeepSeek, Cloudflare Workers AI or Ollama Cloud. Some free or unpaid API tiers may use submitted content differently from paid tiers; review the selected provider’s terms before sending personal or confidential content.
- Voice, research and media: speech, search, trend and stock-media services needed for the options you select, including Pexels, Pixabay, Mixkit, Openverse, Wikimedia and similar sources. Requests can include topic or script text.
- Infrastructure: hosting, storage, backup and burst-compute providers, which may include Runpod. Private-source jobs are restricted from third-party burst rendering where the product marks them ineligible.
- Payments and distribution: the checkout provider presented to you (such as Lemon Squeezy, PayHere, Apple or Google) and, only after your authorization, Google/YouTube or Meta/Facebook for publishing.
Providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal transfer mechanisms.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use essential session, security, referral and preference storage to keep you signed in, protect authentication, remember your theme and attribute an eligible referral. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or other core features.
5. Retention and deletion
Account content is retained while your account is active or until you delete it, subject to operational backups and legal, security, billing or dispute-retention needs. Render scratch data is temporary. Completed media and metadata remain available until deleted under the product’s controls or account lifecycle. Provider-side retention follows the selected provider’s terms.
6. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted administration, isolation between users, and encryption for selected secrets and personal fields. No system is perfectly secure; keep your account and connected-provider access protected and contact us promptly if you suspect misuse.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction/objection, and may withdraw consent for optional processing. Disconnect publishing accounts through their provider and the product controls. We may verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where law requires it.
8. Children
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. Do not use the service or submit information if you are under 18.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.
